Douglas has over 16 years experience working with major pharmaceutical firms, biotechnology firms, and primary patient care delivery. His career includes managing and auditing multiple investigational clinical trials in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. He has managed all facets of clinical work (Phase I, II, III, and IV), including medical writing, regulatory affairs management, plus the selection and management of CROs. In addition, he has hired, trained, and supervised CRAs and has eight years experience with various eCRF platforms.
Areas of therapeutic expertise include HIV/AIDS, hematology, Multiple Sclerosis, cardio-vascular, depression, hormonal therapy/Women’s Health, Hepatitis C, oncology, GVHD, skin cancer, renal failure, Parkinson’s, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and epilepsy.
Douglas is an adjunct Instructor at the Georgetown University of Nursing and a member of the Drug Information Association. He received a Bachelor of Science from George Washington University in Washington D.C., and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Durham in the United Kingdom. Douglas also has Paramedic Certification from the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA.
