Dr. Mark Roffman has 30 years experience in drug development, clinical research, project management, strategic business development and managing businesses. Dr. Roffman has been responsible for the filing of more that 30 INDs and 4 NDAs. As a consultant, he has advised more than two dozen companies on the development of new therapeutics.
He is currently the President of MRCS, Inc in Montville, NJ. He is also a consultant to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, venture capitalists, and investment bankers in matters relating to drug development including areas of protocol development, project management and development plans. Dr. Roffman assisted in formation of three companies and in raising approximately $20 million in capital. He has served as President and COO of these virtual companies that focused on Alzheimer’s disease, Women’s Health, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Behavior.
Dr. Roffman’s therapeutic experience includes: AIDS, anti-infectives, Alzheimer’s Disease, anxiety, arthritis, cancer (small molecules and gene therapy), cardiovascular disease, depression and schizophrenia, diabetes, gastrointestinal disease, a variety of diseases affecting the Central Nervous System (CNS) including Parkinson’s and Women’s Health.
