Rebekah Whitfield, R.N., B.S., Western Region Project Manager

Rebekah has been a clinical research associate since 1994. She has conducted clinical monitoring activities according to Good Clinical Practice, ICH and client standard operating procedures as an independent contractor for the pharmaceutical biotechnology and device industries at a variety of study centers in the United States and Canada. Rebekah received an associate’s degree in nursing in 1990 and has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1979.

Her therapeutic experience in Phase l - lV trials includes: Anti-infectives, Asthma, BPH, Cardiology, Cervical Dystonia, CNS, COPD, Gastrointestinal, Hormone replacement therapy, Hypertension, Infectious disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology, Pain control, Post-operative ileus prevention, Psychiatric: Bipolar, Sepsis, Stroke, Urology (frequency/incontinence, BPH). Experience with device studies include: PCR/NAT testing for Blood Banks in US, Automated Pap smear reading, International Colpol assisted cervical cancer detection, Knee replacement. Post breast cancer, lumpectomy implanted radiation delivery catheter, Stents for AV access and iliac occlusion, Carotid Artery stenting, Cardiac defibrillator with intra-cardiac pressure readings.

Rebekah has completed graduate work in agency counseling at the University of Northern Colorado, in Denver, CO. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO.
